STXM (STXM) has extensive experience in planning, supervising and providing post-test analysis of model testing programs. STXM has worked with most major model test facilities around the world and can assist clients in selecting the most appropriate facility and model test program for any ship or offshore design project.
STXM has experience with a wide range of model tests including: resistance, self-propulsion, seakeeping, maneuvering, hydro-elastic and ice testing.
Recent model test programs include:
- Resistance, self-propulsion and seakeeping tests of the New Zealand OPVs Otago and Wellington at FORCE Technology.
- Resistance, self-propulsion and maneuvering in ice for the Great Lakes Icebreaker (GLIB) Mackinaw at the Aker Arctic Research Center (AARC).
