Class: Research Vessels

Design: Hydrographic Survey

John P. Tully
'John P. Tully'

The ice strengthened vessel "John P. Tully" is designed to conduct both hydrographic surveys and oceanographic research.

The hull form reduces motions in heavy seas while special attention was paid to minimize structural born vibrations and keep hull noise to a minimum.

The aft working deck provides for a flexible fit of scientific equipment and machinery while the multi-laboratory areas give the scientists effective facilities in which to work.
